I think I may have tried my hand once or twice at Civilization (the original) back in the 1990s, but I didn't really know what I was doing, nor was I patient enough to find out. So the only one I ever really played was C3C, until now. I had Civ Revolutions, but never got into it.
As far as Builders go, I've gotten used to them, and am certainly beginning to see the value in extra Builder charges. I was always amused by having "Bob-the-2000-year-old-builder" around in C3C, though.
