Barbarian spam

Hi,

Glad to join this good website and civ fan !!!

I play Civ 5 BNW

I understand and don't really mind that barbarian camp appear randomly somewhere in map(where no unit sight of view), but sometime i just have barbarian appear(spam) anywhere on the map, without coming from a camp.

Is there a way to stop just this?

I don't talk to about they appear when you have too low happiness, ex: when capture other civ.city and drop to minus 10, or 20, etc...

This is usually arrive when i have big score or big score difference with the second rank.

It come in ocean too, just to get my merchant - commercial boat, they can grab me 3 to 4 boat in few turns...

Anyone have an idea?

For now, sometimes i use IGE to delete them

put a soldier in empity blanks of the map to avoid barbarians to spam

tx 4 answer, but i have write about sight of view; it can be sad to put a unit in every empty blank spot to have full sight of view to prevent spamming

i have some save game that can shown what i mean

for me, its clearly a cheat by cpu when i'm too strong for other civ

i'm speaking about barbarian appear randomly in my territory, even if their no camp and i have positive happiness...

Rebels from other civs and CSs that are unhappy enough will appear as barbs, and will stomp around your territory (not just the territory they spawned in).
