Hi!

For quite a long time I'm using a mixed mountain set with my standard terrain. It consists of Womok's mountains - which I loved from day one :) - for normal mountains, forest mountains and snow-capped mountains.

Womoks mountains however needed a little bit tweaking. The green of the mountain foot had to be adapted to the default terrain green. Moreover, the grfx were dotted with pink pixels, probably due to a previous compression problem, which I deleted.

For mountains in jungle I still use the built-in ones because of their reddish and eroded look.

Installation: If you want to use them, just copy the three mountain grfx from the zip into the "{Civ3 install}\art\terrain" folder. You might want to back up your original files for a re-install.

Sweet! Could you also do it for Sn00py's terrain?

*cough* No, sorry. :mischief:

This is provided 'as is'. I'm not planning to mod anything for Civ3. It's 15 days until CIV

Yep, default grfx in all o'their ugliness! :D I'd tried several other grfx mods. THey all look much more beautiful, I must admit - but I found I could spot units best on std terrain so I sticked with it, together with some minor additions.

I know is a niche mod .... :p

@Goldflash, I thought the same thing at first..."Why would someone do that on purpose?"..."Those Jungles are horrible"

@Bluebox...Id use your mountains, but the red/grey is inconsistant, and looks a little patchy...the snow-capped look beautiful tho...nice job...

Well, this is how Womoks mountains are done. Womoks mountains were designed for his terrain set and I adapted them for my beloved Std terrain. :crazyeye: That's all about this little mod. :)
