Can I merge several mods?

Hi, I am new to the Mods. As I see many mods posted, is it possible to merge several ones, or by deault the one you load will override the previous one? eg: AOEII and Plantation Economy??? and also other Mods... Please advise.

The Age of Further Discovery ModMod for AOD2 includes Aymerick's Plantation Economy. He also plans to integrate Kailric's Pirates and Buccaneers Mod at some point soon. You should give it a try...
