Change the default saves directory??

Since I have Civ IV Colonization installed on my external Harddrive, is there a way to tel it to save to the same drive and not in my documents in c:\?

I thought there was something in CivilizationIV.ini;

; Save Path - relative to working (Civ4) folder
FileName = 0

So is that a line to use to make a new default save location and if so once its set doe the program no longer use my documents?

If not then can anyone figure out a way to change the save location?
