I know this is off topic, and a completely stupid noob question, but how come I don't have multiple ships like ruskyandrei (more than one friagte or ship of the line, workboat or whatever) when on maximum settings, is that a mod?

Really this carrier is not only ugly, it just doesnt look at all like a real carrier, but like someone else said it mostly resembles "a flight deck pasted onto a (random) hull".

Which is historically accurate. Most early carriers were literally flight decks built atop existing hulls.

That's true. The picture probably stems from a WorldWarII mod. When the United States were attacked by Japan, they took a couple of freighters and built flight decks on them. Voila, aircraft carrier. But the professional carriers didn't look much different.

I like the graphics in civ v, its the gameplay that puts me off. As for the guy that said if you dont like steam your an idiot, plenty of people dont like having to use steam for a variety of reasons.
