DG3 Official Poll - World Size

The world size determined in this poll will be used in DG3.

This poll will remain open at least 48 hours and may remain open until DG3 begins. It may be closed if no winner is determined and further discussion/polling is needed.

Note that there is no quorum and no abstain option.

Large is a good size for a demogame. Huge takes too long to get started and too long to end.

I agree that huge is too big. And if we're going to a diplo/Space Race victory, it would be easier to deal with less civs. So, Average.

I voted for large. A huge map would have too many opponents and would take too much time to complete. On the other hand, an average map would not have enough competition and it would be over too quickly. IMO, a large map is the best size for a demogame.

BTW, don't all official polls have to have an abstain option and a quorum? Don't worry, I won't bring it up for judicial review I'm just curious.

In a way, yes. However, this poll technically is not part of DG2, so the rules techincally do not appy to these polls.

I'd like Average, for the sake of our sanity. The smaller the map, the fewer governors needed.

Even if there are some (OK,many) arguments against,I say huge as I just love huge maps.Vote won't do any damage anyway.
