Dumanios' Custom Soundtrack Mod

[Dumanios]

The game's default soundtrack gets boring eventually, and I'm sure most of you agree that it's a bit too euro-centric(especially in the medieval and renaissance eras).

Southernking inspired me to attempt to improve the soundtrack. Much of the music is from other civ mods, used with permission. Some of the music is from other games in the series, while some songs don't really fit either characteristic. I've replaced between 1/3 and 1/2 of the music is the Medieval, Renaissance, and Industrial eras.

I will specify that I own none of the music present in this. There is a credits file inside it as well. If there is music that you think ought be replaced, then specify a replacement, preferably public domain or approved for this type of use by the owner.

New Years Eve Update!

Replaced four songs introduced in Warlords, three of which were never used(so effectively, new music!)
Those four songs are in the ancient age, with three of them being in the classic age in addition.
I replaced two songs in the Medieval Ages that weren't replaced before.
I replaced two songs in the Renaissance that weren't replaced before.
I replaced one song in the Modern Era that wasn't already replaced, and replaced a replacement.

Credits file in the OP updated for the New Years Eve release.

You have winrar, right? If not, google it, and DL it from the first result.

Anyway, my mod is made in a way so that you can just extract from the rar file directly into you mods folder.

I did it, it loaded but there is no music difference in the game.

I have listen to some of them manually. Good music. It is sad it does not work, it would be good.

Not all of the music was replaced, so you'll listen to default music alongside new music.

I think I've diagnosed whatever problems people may be running into.

This is a nice partial music mod. I have made my own, and it not that easy to find really good music that is the right length and fits in. I don't think the XML file is really needed as this replaces the original music files names (so Custom Assets is the place to put the music files. As long as custom assets is active the music plays nicely. Any plans to do more?

Some of the new songs don't play normally, and it's there so that I could put the Japanese and Middle-Eastern songs from Conquests into the Medieval Ages. If it's causing problems, feel free to delete it.
