Expansive Tactics

I am a very great player at the settler difficulty in Civ4. I have 2 personalities to apply to this playstyle: Aggressive and Expansive.
1. Build A Lot of Cities and keep the gold high producing.
2. Declare War for expanding territory.
3. Keep your friends close and ignore the enemies.
4. EZ way to achieve a diplomatic victory.

i thought it's easy to win a domination very, very early in setler. no need of mass media

I am Just slow in playing civ but stated into Normal

Well, I guess that there might be a few more info to the "before" building a lot of cities. Part of the tactics must describe how to expand by creating a lot of cities, being this one of the biggest issues about growing.

I got your point and yeah you need a lot of money to produce more units right? and for me I prefer diplomatic Victory or Science too.
