Two of my friends and I were playing a local network game and now we have to play over the internet because I am out of town. I load the game (I am the host) and wait for them to join but when they do they join as other civs. Not as the ones they started as. The swap button only highlights and will not swap them. We finally decided to start the game to see what happens but they were still the new civs, not their original civs.
The civs are noted as human players in the lobby and the other civs as AI. But they keep joining as the AI civs. Not as themselves. Any help on this please?
