There is also now a version of this GOTM, that can be played with regular game version, which is with unmodified alphax.txt file:
- Firaxis exe's and their patches
- scient, kyrub patches, other similar
- other versions, GoG, Planetary Pack, etc.

I got into a huge drama fest with the only guy who actually submitted a winning score. I called him an indefatiguable calculator. The scenario itself, is a test of an "ultra tech stagnation" mod IMO. Only this 1 guy submitted a seriously competitive score on Transcend. 1 guy submitted a mediocre score on Librarian. Myself, I started out playing the mod, but switched to the wrong alphax.txt on another laptop halfway through. I played several more partial games to test the play characteristics of the mod, completely ignoring my score, just wanted to see how it behaves. I stand by my pronouncement of "ultra tech stagnation" rules, and I personally do not find those rules to be interesting. YMMV.
