I've had this problem for a few years now. Whenever I open the game, select my DX version, and the games opens the loading screen, the music starts playing, and the game crashes with a "Civ 5 has stopped working" message, getting me to close the program. The only thing it gives me is a .mdmp file, which I don't know how to open or read. I've attached it in case anybody else can, along with a dxdiag file just in case. Anybody know what's going on or had this happen to them before?
And yes, I have tried verifying the Steam cache, running on a different DX version, etc. The only thing that really seems to fix it is uninstalling and reinstalling, and even then it only lasts for a while before the crashes start coming back.
