Game reusing old civs for new games

Hiawatha, Greece, Persia.

I wish there was a "Anyone Except.... X Civ" option...

I wish too... I really hate Hiawatha. But by meeting militaristic CS, you can barely guess who's not in the game, by checking the UU gift by these CS (I'm quite well when I see the message "... they know the secret of Mohawk Warrior!")

The most common civ I see in my games is "unknown civilization" -- as in, "An unknown civilization has lost their capital." That guy appears in nearly every game I play.

and it usually turns out to be Isabella, Askia or Harald.

Last game I played: unknown civ lost it's capital, later revealed to be Bismark starting next to Attila. Askia started near me. Bad luck for the usual punching bag civ.

happens to me with Ethiopia. Every game. Without fault. And I hate them for it

You and me both. Only, they lose they're capital 50 turns in every game I play. No exceptions.
