Those hearts you added are showing up in red in the thread URL, in Chrome at least. That's weird looking, seeing coloured characters in there.

I guess the thread URLs were updated to use the thread title rather than just a thread ID now.

I like the "likes" feature.

The like button changes to unlike when pressed

I like that

The URLs of old threads also appear to have changed, although the former URLs appear to redirect correctly.

By liking this post you consent to being used as a puppet in my complicated schemes.

Here are my strings. The only condition is that your schemes cannot involve Scheme, nor may you Lisp. I was forced to learn Scheme in lieu of a useful language in my CS 101 class like 8 years ago, and although I see why educators like it, it is otherwise really stupid. (So (many (goddamn (parentheses)))).

Some Neo-Nazis have apparently taken to putting the names of Jews in triple parentheses. I think this is stupid. Triple parentheses should be reserved for people who Lisp.

Can I ask why you're not supposed to see OT?

I think she meant philosophically, or something.

And for the record, I like all of you.

PDMA is still not allowed.
Nah, I kept getting into silly arguments that ended with infractions. Some reasonable, some over petty nonsense like "You didn't censor that quote correctly, 2 points!". Pretty annoying, and would probably have gotten me banned from the site over time, so a mod made the suggestion that they could remove my access from this specific sub-forum, which I happily agreed with.

But now with the new software that manual ban seems to be inactive again - for now at least.

Moderator Action: A lot has changed with the new forum software, but Public Discussion of Moderator Action (PDMA) is still not allowed.
Please read the forum rules: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=422889
