Just wondering, I've only ever played Civ IV LAN MP with a friend, the thought of playing any Civ game online for 8 hours straight seems scary. What settings do people play online to speed things up? Is there a particular time of day people play at?

I just logged in and there is literally no-one in the lobby and no-ones posted here since May(!!!!???). Wow. Its a shame because I'd just like to give it a go.
