Liberty Bells = lots of Founding Father points, expanded City Borders, ... & more

Last night I made my first concentrated efforts to take the peasants off the land and start generating Liberty Bells by placing them in the TownHalls with an Elder Statesman or two.

I was very suprised to see the rate at which I generated Founding Father points in the next couple of turns, ... and the general positive effect which Liberty Bells has on City Borders expanding and overall productivity gains through new Founding Fathers.

Maybe I'll consider generating Liberty Bells from the start in future and focus on building a massively productive number of Shipyards to win the Independence War (or most of it) at Sea

I was wondering how city borders expanded.
I think you could steal tiles from the other countries too. Like the French were doing to me.
