Lumber Mills for Rainforest Tiles

I am playing Rise and Fall and was avoiding removing rainforests because I thought I could build lumber mills. Apparently that is only a thing in Gathering Storm. Can this please be added to Rise and Fall and the base game? This is a very basic concept that should not be limited to one game mode.
