More Civ IV Screenies?

The graphics look like a big step backward. The resources are laughable, the units would be much better as individuals (as opposed to multi-units), and from what's been mentioned about the new battle method - I'm starting to think maybe I'll stick with Civ3.

I disagree.

The graphics has civ written all over them, I think you are being discouraged too early.

And besides, RoN and the like are all derived from CIV.

Once more info and screenies come, then people's fears will fade.

Methinks you are being overly negative about it.

You seem to forget that at this stage, many graphics will be mere placeholders.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. RON was a great game, and this looks even better.

I thought RoN looked really good.

Remember, btw, that the first Civ3 screenies looked like crap compared to the finished game. And IIRC they were released at a much later point in the development cycle. IMO this looks promising!

Generally hating a game becuase it has bad graphics isn't a very good opinion.
