Need some "Out of Sync" help

Basically, I have an out of sync problem when playing with a friend of mine over the LAN.

All the game files are unmodified. The weird thing is, the out of sync almost always occurs after about the time we get to scientific method. I have no idea what to do but we just can't play our games till the end. Any ideas? :
