Renaming Units

I know how to rename units when they are upgraded--but can you rename them when they are upgraded from a goodie hut?

I could have sworn I've seen videos where the player was able to rename at that point (i..e, scarcher--for scout archer) or when a city state gifted them a unit.

But I can only rename when upgraded due to battle or something.

I don't see the edit feature for goodie hut upgrades.

If you use steam there is a mod called "Advanced User Interface" I believe that allows what you are saying.

Otherwise I think you can only rename units when you get a promotion. Getting your Scout upgraded to an Archer doesn't count as a promotion.

You can still manually install mods I think, you just have to download them from a browser

^^I've tried that, and it's a pain in the butt. Sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. And I think with the last update that it's nearly impossible to do with the App Store version. Steam version is no problem, but it's the App Store.
