Screen not aligned properly?

Hi everyone I'm new here and I'd like to know if anyone has the same problems as me. Whenever I load civ 5 after the the launcher closes and the game starts, the background images don't seem to align with my screen. Like the main menu screen is supposed to be the entire screen but mine just fills up the upper left part and the rest is just black. Any solutions pls?
