Splash popup missing after map generation

I am running BULL 1.1 and BUG 4.3 as a single MOD. The Splash popup that shows your Civ, Leader, and Starting techs right after the map generates is no longer present.

Does anyone know what files are used for this?

We haven't removed the Dawn of Man screen, so there must be a problem. Please check the Troubleshooting page for information on how to enable logging so we can see what's happening and post the results here.

are you sure that the unmodded game does that? I don't recall getting the Dawn of Man splash when I regenerate the map with unmodded BtS.

Is this about regeneration? I read that at first, too, but then I reread the title and noticed it says only "map generation" which happens when you start a normal game and when you regenerate the map.

If this is about map regeneration using ESC : Regenerate Map or ALT + G, this isn't a bug. The normal game shows the Dawn of Man screen only when you start a new game.
