Some Tourism Roleplay -

Civatonia - By far the most important city in the nation, Civatonia has been home to many firsts. The first rifle, the first infantry, the first tank, and so on. It's also the site of The Great Library, JS Bach's Cathedral, Hoover Dam, and Apollo - fitting for a city so great in culture. It is also situated to the east of two mountains, which our ancestors called "The Gateway to the World". It's an area rich in iron and known for its' fine breed of horses. The city, also being the proud military city that it is, is looking to win a bid to build the Manhatten Project. Civatonia is perhaps the most well-rounded city, too.

Priapos - Situated on the coast by a renegade governor who one said, "There be gold in them thar hils!!!", this is a major port and fishing village. It is a very popular tourist site with many adventurous, if not masochist people coming to surf on the often mighty waves this shoreline sees. Sitting on top of a gold mine, it certainly begs to be noted as a center of commerce. While it lacks production, there is talk of offshore drilling technology, but that may be decades away. This very modern industry may swing it to the most important city in the land!

Olympus - Our capital, and 3rd best city in the nation. Like Priapos, it has an all-around high level of commerce, science and culture. While production is high dispite the lack of hills and mountains, people often complain of extremely high property values due to the lack of real-estate. For all its' lack of space, the wheat fields and vinards are a sight to see.

Styx - Despite being an ancient frontier city with cattle ranching, sugar crops and fishing industry, it ranks at #4. But, don't let its' small-town looks fool you! Its' coasts, grasslands and plains make it a truely well-rounded city. It's often a popular vacation spot for those in the industrial cities to get away from big-city life. This will also be the site of the United Nations. All nations will be united -- under US!

Berlin - Not of direct Greek ethnic descent, it comes at #5 in the list of top cities. Berlin has plenty of industries to keep any worker happy - tabacco farming, wheat farming, esquestairian, oil drilling and wineries further south.

Rome - Honorable Mention goes to this city, the site of the Iron Works. This is our most picturesque city with hills, mountains, grasslands and floodplains surrounding the city. The city is also a popular skiing destination in the winter months, and the most used site for the Winter Olympics.

And then there was the time pollution occurred during the downhill skiing event. The skier was quite distressed when some strange orange stuff appeared under his feet. Our workers were able to clean it up within the year, but the competitors were still understandably upset.

The winter olympics must get boring awfully quickly with only three nations... ;)

Yeah, I hear they're discussing having the olympic teams be based on regional city-states now. After all, within the next few decades, there might not be any nations left. (Oh, and there's 4 nations -- Rome has 1 city left - Byzantium...)
