Hello everybody, remember me?
You know the one who spammed and posted things he shouldnt and generally insulted people and got on the mos nerves and posted completley unfunny things...
You dont? - Oh dear.
Well anyhow we had some times, Ive been away from this for ages because of serious problems in real life(and after my first day of playing civ3 solid it is hard to envisage such a thing but I can just about manage it) - you dont want to know about my problems, oh okay maybe you do but im not telling, oh right you forced it out of me, one of my best friends (I have some honest) thought it would be a good idea to cheat on his girlfriend - me and some of his other friends told her (shes my friend too) and he decided to go round to one of my friends houses and whack him with a metal bar - funny huh? - and he hit me.
Anyhow I hope no one who knwos me reads that ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh



OKAY TO THE POINT
Ive written a modpack to civ3 - its not perfect by any means but I have taken what I like from other modpacks and come up with some of my own ideas - its primarily for me to play but Im giving it to all of you cos im dead genorous. I am open to criticisms and suggestions however and will listen to them if they are not brainless and stupid things like how bout changing spearmen attack to 40000 or something - okay?

I hope it becomes as famous as LWC because I think its great!! (well im biased obviously)
ramble ramble.....

Here are the changes in no paticular order (incidentally there are no updated civlopedia files to encorprotate new govs and imps because it was for me to play and I dont care: feel free to make some):

Wealth needs 4 shield for a gold now

3 cities needed for army (from 4)

Cossack has +1 defensse and +1 attack
Tank has movedment of 3
Panzer has movement of 4 and +2 attack (18)
Knight cost reduced to 6 (from 7)
Radar artillery moves 2

All medieval and ancient ships have had their movement points DOUBLED - so has the ironclad

All other ships have had their movement points TREBLED
except the destroyer which has it QUADRUPLED and the nuclear sub which now moves at 16

All modern ships now require coal to build (represents steel)
Coal now has a 160 chance of appearing (I am thinking about makiung this higher)
AEGIS cruiser does not require Uranium

Frigate has its attack increased to 3
Privateer has its attack increased to 2
Man of war has its attack upgraded to 4 and its defense upgraded to 3
Both nuke and normal sub now have attacks of 10 (6 made them unusable IMO)
Battleship attack is now 20

Radar artillery bombard strength is now 20
Cruise missile bombard strength is now 20

marine attack is now 12
Rifleman attack is now 5
paratrooper attack is now 8
Musketeer has 1 upgraded attack AND one upgraded defense from musketman

Temple, Library, University, Cathedral and Police station all reduce corruption
Shakespeares theater gives 8 culture

Scientists now require education but give 3 science
Taxmen now require curency but give 2 gold

Clear jungle time is down to 10

New government (no its not original): Fascism

New fascism Government: draft limit 2
Nuisance corruption, Uses forced labour. Has worker rate of 3
Military police rate of 3
Has 1 unit free per town, 2 per city and 6 per metropolis
Immune to nothing
Assimilation chance = 2%
Resistance modifier of 5 vs communism
5 vs despotism and 5 vs monarchy
Requires nationalism
Communism has resistance modifier 5 vs fascism

Propoganda – communism has +10 vs fascism

Democracy has +10 vs fascism

Fascism has +20 vs communism +5 vs despotism and +10 vs monarchy
Its has –5 vs republic and –10 vs democracy and +30 vs anarchy

Fascism is the fav gov of Babylon, Germany, Japan, Aztec, Zulus,


Changes to communism- draft limit of 3 and corruption now problematic.

ALL THE MODERN GOVS NOW HAVE AN IMPROVEMENT OR WONDER THEY ALONE CAN BUILD:

Communism:

5 year plan (yes i know hitler did them too :p): improvement
Cost 8 - mainetance 2, requires coal and Iron and refining advance
Increases city output by 50% (i am not sure that this is not cancelled out by factories)

Democracy

World Trade Center (wonder)
Requires wall street to have been built and the corporation to have been researched
It doubles all research in city and +1 trade in all trade producing tiles as well as giving +5 culture

Fascism :

The enigma machine (wonder) (i know there is no reason why this can only be built once and I dont care :))
Allows armies to be built in every city
Requires 20 maintenance




Well thats it - firstly before you say it, I dont think the govs are unfair now - democracy is already ridiculously strong.
and one question - how do you make it so that roads work in enemy territory

EVERYONE WHOS FINDING AWAY TO ADD MORE CIVS - KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, I CANT WAIT

wow 9 dowloads - hardly a ringing endorsment - hey people ge tthis file its great, okay get it for *insert name of appropriate deity here*'s sake

Um sorry you got hit in the head with a metal bar? LoL
 
Hmm.. about those specific government wonders/improvements, what if you change governments? Does it disable them? Or destroy them? Or??
