It's not a mod. I did actually get a longbowmen. But I didn't test him in combat to see if he really is as good as a longbowmen.
But the problem is fixed. Right before this happened, I tried to open another window, then the window I tried to open had an error, then the screen went blank for a few seconds, then it turned crazy colors, then it went back to the game. I could then upgrade javalins to longbows. But I restarted the computer after and it doesn't do it anymore.
