Just got a new laptop with GTX1650 graphics but this doesn't appear in the drop-down menu when I start a game - I'm stuck with the on-board chip which is hopeless. I've tried most solutions I've found on-line but no luck; does anyone have any suggestions?

I did everything everyone suggested and one of them worked! Sea resources now back. Thanks to all for your help

How do I kill that process?

Appreciate your help. Although I'm my PC administrator I get error messages telling me access is denied when I try to delete that folder! Tried all sorts of workarounds but no luck - guess I'll have to wait until the mods become usable again

Thanks, I tried that but apart from the Great Barrier Reef there are no additional yields. Save game just shows blank sea tiles; I checked the resources xml file and all the sea resources are present

Quill18 always posts good let's play videos and twitch streams which he posts later. He's good fun to listen to, makes mistakes as well as being a good player and he regularly provides really good insights. Also recommend Marbozir and Arumba

I have removed all my mods (unsubscribed and deleted) and cleared the cache but I don't ever get sea resources with any leader. Anyone else had this and if so what's the solution

Just tried out Cyrus and when I tried to capture a city with an immortal it wouldn't do it - it kept showing only the ranged option. Is there a tab I'm missing to switch between ranged and melee or is it just an error?

I have disabled all other mods but, when I select any version of the rule set, the game will take me to the intro screen but will not actually start - any thoughts? I have installed it in the correct directory which couldn't be simpler to follow

It's OK, thanks. It looks like it was a problem with Steam which I solved by re-starting

I logged off yesterday after a couple of hours of Civ VI but when I tried to start up again today it wouldn't load at all after the initial run screen. I checked the folder and it looks like all the files including the Civ VI application, have gone. I uninstalled and re-installed but the same...

Thanks very much, really appreciate your advice. My dxdiag shows the graphics are using the intel unit but that the render is handled by my 960m - is this OK? I did make the changes you suggested via the nVidia control panel but when starting up either with DX11 or DX12 I get an error message...

Just installed both new DLCs and suddenly the game won't run - I either get a message saying application can't access my graphics card or, if it does start the game stutters, sound crackles and eventaullu it gives up. I have a laptop with an nVidia Geforce GTX 960m which has always worked in...
