And every time, when it tried to install the Angkorwat.bik file, it would give an error (Cyclic Redundancy Check) and refer to data2.cab, but nothing is in the Cab file, so I can't find the file to see what's wrong with it.

Hm. I recently got BtS, and haven't gotten to do much with it, so I didn't realize that it was Astro, not Calendar. Still, another point in favor of a Zara/Stonehenge strategy. Because on a map like Pangaea or some Fractals, you have little reason to tech Astronomy, except for the Observatory.

Do you have any other Vassals? The AI takes its mood towards you and all of your vassals for things like WFYABTA, resource trades, etc.

Liz is probably the best for a conventional strategy. With unrestricted Leaders, Elizabeth of China with their +25% culture Theatre would probably be best, but Elizabeth of Ethiopia is great too. Build Stonehenge and never tech Calendar. +25% in all cities from the start would be good. For...

Hm... I like this game. But I can't play Emperor like MadScientist, but I'll find some way to do something comparable for fun. Also, Settler First, make the second city a settler/worker pump for the rest of your empire while the Capital builds the wall, finishing right on turn 199.

Nice job with that round. Never would've bet on you winning Liberalism, and taking Economics was the best choice. But eventually, Economy will cease to be an issue when the only thing you can tech is Code of Laws. You'll have to run 100% gold to avoid teching it.

Not doing too badly, except for the crashing economy. Once that recovers, you'll be in great shape. On an unrelated note, I got BtS today, so maybe after taking some time to learn the new stuff, I'll play some of these and see how long I last.

Hm. How far after Chemistry is Steel? If it's right after, take Steel with Lib, otherwise, Lib for Nationalism to draft your Army, or SciMeth for the techs it opens up, and the free Physics Scientist. Either way, hold Education until Liberalism is teched.
