Great ideas there! The best was the Thunderbrd myth for sure ;)
I am looking forward to give some feedback regarding the concepts if I get a little time around christmas. Keep up the enthusiam, its the best source of inspiration there is! :xmascheers:
Sorry bringing this up again but since noone answered:
is there a way to replicate the "pre-chop" autoworker action for ALL improvements - aka a new "pre-work" gameoption?
Or in another way: in which file could I find the "pre-chop" code that I would have to use to enable all other...
As it was already mentioned the be st way is
a) to enable revolutions mod option before game starts
b) send in some spies to incite unhappiness and also to spread some of your culture
when the city finally goes into anarchy for some turns the possibility is that it flips to you if you...
I sent a ticket about the 403 error.
When i said "I can't see the public thread even when I am not logged in" I didn't mean I could see it when I am logged in - still only "! Forbidden" - but that I should see it if I am not logged in, right?
Are you sure maybe didn't set a tiny security...
Yes, same problem TB described here.
If I go into my sourceforge profile I see I got granted rights for c2cgamedev in my projects, but I can't access it.
Also, I don't see a public thread if I am not logged in.
Just "A 403 Error has occured" and a big exclamation mark. :(
Jawohl, mein Führer! (I wouldn't have thought that I would ever write that  )
You described the different strategies very insightful.
I'd plea for a double-strategy like the MMO WarThunder has it - the base game is for free and they add stuff like units and maps and other content every...
two bugs in pretty recent (a few days old) svn:
1.) AI sends like 7 healers with attacking stack, one or two should be suffient
2.) the early fort thing (wooden palisade/tower?) has a graphic that shows stone tower.
The palisade graphics from the city building (xXxXx) fits better than the...
You're welcome :)
By the way if you edited a precolumbian earth map version that includes ozeanian civ(s) feel free to post that file in the GEM thread of the C2C subforum
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=457501
I am sure many people playing this map would be happy to test...
If you want it to work, load the starting scenario with notepad or editor, copy in an additional team (pirates), also add the other information about it (just look how other civs stats are listed in the file and add one new civs entry at)
Yes, Rogues bring a lot of money in critical prehistoric times when you struggle to pay for 2-3 cities later the AI has a lot of dogs to keep the rogues away but not then.. I raided the lands of the #1 AI last game around that time just to get even in score at the end of the prehistoric era...
I don't know if the AI does use multiple production but there are certain ways to have a balanced, competetive game:
First play Eternity speed, its a bit slow in beginning but at the end of prehistoric era you have a good speed for the coming parts of the game
Secoundly, play deity difficulty...
Can't this be a gameoption "enhanced prehistoric era" or something? Cause I would play it but installing a mod-mod and enabling it in a file or something most certainly is what most players wouldn't like to do to be able to play it, I guess.
