I can have a look at the units file, sure.

 Perfidious Albion indeed. I've got to say I kinda like the Kipling adventure vibe of the Colonial 'small wars' while simultaneously being sickened by the subjugation and exploitation of 1/3 of the world's population by English upper-class arseholes ;)

    Industrial Unit Graphics

Following on with the 19th Century theme, I've reworked some old Victorian-era British and Empire units with a fair number of new additions. I'm currently drawing their Asian and African adverseries.

    Industrial Unit Graphics

Here's a collection of 19th Century units I've made over the past 20 years with recent additions and tweakage of the older ones. Some were initially made for Techumseh's Blood and Iron scenario which Tech has recently resumed development of...

    Old project getting started.

In terms of this period of history. this scenario covers a key part of the 1848-71 chunk of the 19th century that shaped modern Europe and set the scene for the two world wars in the 20th century. As Tech says, a fascinating period of history, both in terms of events and the massively changing...

    Whither scenario design?

Steam is a storefront that will sell pretty much any game, as will GoG for that matter. The decision to sell Civ 2 and ToT lies with 2K/Firaxis who hold the rights according to this thread (ironically enough from a thread on GoG asking for them to sell civ2!)...

    Mercator's CivSprite

OK thanks, I'll give it a try. I assume now I just place my civ-colour masked 'parts' in white in the top slot corresponding to each unit numbered from 1-189, and leave the other 4 rows blank?

    Mercator's CivSprite

I'm still a tad confused. The original civsprite mask file (black tiles) was the same proportions as a normal 81-unit ToT units.bmp file, making it easy to correlate a sprite mask for a particular unit with its corresponding original units.bmp location (ie 9x9 tiles). Now, instead of the...

    Mercator's CivSprite

Ah that's great, thanks Dadais. One question: your new mask template is no longer the same shape/format as the units file; how exactly does it work?

    WW2 Unit Graphics

OK I've waded back far enough in this thread to this time last year and I did include the Steyr ADGZ on the German compilation. You've outdone yourself this time Patine. Not only are you doing the usual of asking for obscure units to be made, but you've started asking for obscure units that have...

    WW2 Unit Graphics

I drew the ADGZ a year or so ago - maybe I didn't post the updated German collection? Here it is with whatever other additions I've made over the last couple of years

War of Spanish Succession / Great Northern War scenario idea

city name nit-picking aside, this would be an excellent choice for a scenario civ2units. Looking forward to the results!

    Mercator's CivSprite

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has used CivSprite to generate a static.spr file for a Units file larger than the ToT default 81-slot units? I imagine I can edit the unitsbmp_to_staticspr_with_mask.txt file to extend its size out to 134-units but I don't know if this will do the trick and...
