Just bought Civ VI today and I decided to do the tutorial first.
I found two things strange in the tutorial:
1. As far as I can see, you only can leave the tutorial after a certain amount of moves, when there is no textbox with instructions. Or am I wrong, overlooking something?
2. At the...
I have also this crashing during range-attack ( City shoots at ship in my case).
My OS is Windows 8.
I use the DX 10 and 11 mode but it also chrashes at DX 9 mode.
In windows mode, the screen goes flashing very havey on and off. Very bad for your eyes to watch at it.
The strange thing is that it...
That means you must have a good knowledge about mods to update that everytime, right? That is not something for the general player of Civ. Indeed, that should be more user-friendly.
In the meantime I followed the link of Mouseypounds to another Dutch Civilization mod and that one works well...
Thanks for the info; I did not know that. In fact, I do not know anything about mods; I was only looking for a Dutch civilization to play with... Bad luck :dunno:
Using browsing mods I installed the Dutch Republic.
From within mods-> setup game I indeed can start a game, but I only start with a warrior unit and NOT a settler! How can I build a city?
BTW I cannot use this Dutch republic - mod from the normal game-setup, is that normal?
Yes, that is something I know, but the thing about assigning to a building was not properly explained in the game's help and also here I did not find it, so you cleared that up for me, thanks :)
I still cannot follow this:
Here is that part of the screen; where are the slots associated with the buildings, for instance my library?
And how do I assign the worker to my library?
Confirmed, but I have the problem with 1152x864 resolution.
No problems with the default 1024x768 resolution.
- I have a Geforce 8600 GTS card.
- Syncmaster 206 BW monitor
For further info see txtfile below.
Problem is that the Demo is not in the list of games, probably because it is a free downloaded game and not a purchased one.
Probably I should find it somewhere else on steam, but where
Now I own the retail version of CIV, I want to uninstall the CIV V Demo.
I know where it is ( My Documents/my games ) but I dont want to just remove the files, as that will make a mess from the registry-entries.
I don't see an uninstall.exe and in the control-centre -> Software the...
