My reference to the cheats they get was about the free techs, extra settlers, and extra workers in higher difficulties, plus any other modifiers that make it far easier for them to get a religion. Cheats was the best word that came to mind when describing those in my post above, but i guess you...
The number of religions is based on map size if memory serves.
I personally hate the race to get a religion, followed by slow down after. The pacing isnt fun, not to mention the AI cheats. I find the combo to be limiting the options i have.
I hope in Civ 7, they add in options for not...
It was like this before this patch. Im not sure when it was introduced, perhaps it always was this way.
I am not sure if you take the hit for eliminating a civ if they die this way.
You do not see the screen if you make peace before their last city flips.
Overall i like the changes. I understand the change to korea, but they will still be on my blacklist.(they arent fun to play or play against.) The changes to Kongo and russia will take them off the blacklist, at least for one game to see how it goes. I got tired of them eating all the GW...
Trebuchet would be nice. I wouldnt mind seeing a late game "wall" that provides AA defense to the city, if they dont want to give it to them by default. That way they at least damage planes attacking.
Glad portugal is making it, though it does signal to me at least that it is the end for civ 6 dlc. We will probably get a few more patches made by a super small team until civ 7 or whatever they are making.
Still always hoping for a Iroquois to make a return.
Zombies thing feels like an april...
There are several resolutions the AI is extremely predictable. In the one regarding luxuries, i can count on my hands the amount of times they voted to give MORE amenities out of the probably hundreds of times it has come up.
I agree that mines seems to be worse off than lumber mills. Outside the early game, mines seem like the worse option if they arent on some resource. I am guessing they made it this way to try and make people think twice about chopping all the forests away for massive boosts. Of course now...
I used it in dom games to make troops faster, the free amenity from garrison, saving upkeep, sometimes loyalty card, unit upgrades, and building walls. Depends on who i am playing and the state of my cities or the ones i conquered. It often timed well with what i was planning on doing.
I...
Preserves are one of the best parts of NFP imo. I agree with the removing of a feature seems odd. I'll add, if the feature provides negative appeal, make it appeal neutral at the very least. That way planting on jungles or marshes wont hurt you.
On a minor note, it somewhat annoys me that...
A crown is just a hat that lets rain in. - My avatar.
Looking forward to this mode and the leader picker. I would probably always knock out Aus and Korea, as i just dont enjoy playing with or against them.
Generally speaking, my cities are always on fresh water so i only build them for boosting IZs. Even then, i only build them if the IZ already has, will have high adjacency, or if the city really needs the boost.
I will say a map like highlands doesnt have a lot of fresh water, so i do use...
I hope before they move on, we get Portugal and Iroquois. The former could even be a Leader for both Portugal and brazil should they want to do the usual 1 leader in 2 different civs.
After that, i am fine with whatever Civs. Morocco is another top contender. Huns or Goths arent bad picks...
Overall i like how useful and powerful religions are in Civ 6.
I do not like the spamming of 398438 units to convert cities. It is the most tedious of the victory types. I agree with others, i wish there was more ways to passively spread it.
I think one of the biggest faults the religion...
