To make a long story short, a NES with some promise that I was running ended rather abruptly because I failed to back up data and my computer died. So now I'm overcome with contrition, anger, and shame, and am working on developing this TL to make into a DaNES III: This Time, I'm Backing Up My Stuff.

That's the most recent part, yeah...it's not that divergent yet, but it's picking up, though I am starting to fall into the trap of being too verbose again
The reasoning behind that particular comment had mostly to do with my ongoing althist near that period and my interest in turning that into a NES (probably late 18th century before it starts tho) and my desire to not have to compete with Kraz for players
