In the Fall of Rome scenario, it turned out that You only have to beat everyone scores and not the team's score (Both Romes combined). So my test try with Boudica on Deity turned out to be victorious.
It was quite fun to conquer all.. ended up with 240+ unhappiness :D In the beginning I tried...
Just a friendly reminder. When playing Smoky Skies scenario, remember to bring landunits when conquering enemy cities. I failed on that part as air units only brought the city to 1 hp. Cost me a deity game :)
I did it fairly quickly within Smoky Skies scenario. I played on Deity and installed a spy in each of my oponents capital. By default the scenario plays on the continents map, which means everyone should have at least one neighbour. AI tends to attack that neighbour. And should you discover all...
Winning for me isn't the problem, but always when things get rolling I hit 100 turns or 1000 VP points :)
I have been able to beat the game on Deity as European powers by sending 3 caravales ASAP to china. Then build a small navy and use couple infantries to raze the cities, settle yourself...
I was able to play much longer :) I hacked the scenario with the notepad. I have 1500 turns to complete the game and Victory points aren't any obstacle.

For the first time, I'll not be submitting for the gauntlet. Deity is too hard to just finish a game quickly :) I started a game yesterday and found it had quite a good start. But Alex overran me with a swarm of Phalnax and Catapults. Can we have a non-epic games for a while? I don't have that...
For every GP you get, the amount required will go up. Meaning .. if you get two GP at the same time, your requirement for the next one will go up two levels.
Not for this Gauntlet. It cost me a warrior though :) Ramses was able to complete his chariot when I was attacking his capital. I don't think there is much difference aside from usual luck - the capital being on a hill or building an early wall etc.
Since this gauntlet is all about logistics, I think having more capitals on your main island helps. I've never seen more then 3 (me included) on my island or any other island.
The dream start would be 3+1 on your island and manage to get at least mining from the hut + El-Dorado. Then you can...
I had Washington on my island. He went down quickly to my warriors. But I've had 2 on my island too, but then I had no navy and the barbs took care of my defenceless fleet :)
