So...At this point, what do you prefer?

Absolutely agree, we need to get rid of all this overlap like England/America/Australia/Brazil/Macedon/France/Germany/Poland/Rome/Spain/Greece/Norway/Russia. Stick to truly separate civilisations.

So...At this point, what do you prefer?

Since when were Nubia "unknown"? One of the great ancient Kingdoms.

Between Civ 4,5,6 how would you rate the depth of each game and the AI?

From release to final patch for Civs IV and V, Civ VI as it stands: Civ IV: 3-7 Civ V: 4-6 Civ VI: ~4 Hard to really rate it on such a scale though. Of course, Civ IV was a really easy game for AI to play though, so you've got to give credit for them actually innovating, despite the...

    New civ : Australia

Could well be. They could have been a bit controversial and made an Australian Civ with Victoria as the leader though, that would have been fun.

    New civ : Australia

    Curtin and Menzies were contemporaries.

    New civ : Australia

The thing is, Curtin wasn't even a principled man, as an outspoken opponent of conscription he not only forced it through during the war, but he diddled with the rules about home service (reserves, etc.) so they could be sent from our shores to strategically advantageous locations. All because...

    New civ : Australia

What's even more staggering is that they had two choices, a War Time Prime Minister that supported the White Australia policy, and an economic reformer post War who dismantled it. Here is a great quote by their choice: Fantastic stuff guys. Could have had Australia's greatest prime minister...

    New civ : Australia

John Curtain? Another war leader for a country? Menzies is right there waiting to lead a Civ to glory and they pick John Curtain. Oh well... Good choices anyhow, looks an interesting civ.

A patch will NOT fix this game. Ever.

A patch was never going to fix Civ V, yet it's ended up being widely hailed as the best of the series. A patch was never going to fix Civ IV, yet it's still remembered as one of the best turn based strategy games of it's time, and held by many as the best of the series. But no, of course Civ...

Civ 6 drops below Civ 5 on Steam

Civ IV, even in the state it ended up as, is riddled with poor game design and weak systems. It's a good game, it's arguably one of the best strategy games ever made, but it wasn't without it's problems. Warlords was one of the most underwhelming expansion packs seen in the series, while Beyond...

Civ 6 drops below Civ 5 on Steam

Beyond the Sword was a buggy mess that required community patches to be made playable. Was great once the unofficial patches became official though, too bad that it was well over a year after the release. The funny thing is that there were people going on about the same kind of thing when Civ...

Civ 6 drops below Civ 5 on Steam

The grand unifying law of "THEY RUINED IT" always prevails. Civ X+1 is always worse than Civ X until Civ X+2 is released, at which time it could never replace the masterpiece that is Civ X+1.

Are negative opinions of Civ6 allowed here?

How is the game incomplete exactly? It sounds like you're having technical issues. You submit a support ticket to them in that instance. Most people aren't having technical issues, so it's probably something to do with your particular setup.

Has there been any official word on the Culture Victory?

Looking through it in my last game, it looked like the following was happening: - Domestic tourists: Related to total culture produced in some way. How so was unclear, but taking cities from a Civ doesn't impact it immediately, though it can go down over time suggesting that the value is...
