why would you play a peaceful game in the first place except to win culturally or diplomatically just for the sake of it?
Thats just the way I like to play Civ. I don't really care if I win the game at all, I just want to creativly build my little empire and have a good time.
Can someone help me? I wan't to be able to live in peace and hopfully cooperate alot with my nearest nabors in civ 5. I always end up with my closest neighbours beeing guarded och angry at me even in those cases when I never started a single war. My problem is that they think that I am going for...
I would like too see more loyal ai. As it is now you could have an ai that is friendly toward you only to denounce you the next turn, no matter how much you have helped him/her.
Steam is absolutely fantastic. I don't have to go looking for the latest patch any more, Steam fixes this for me. And it is also very easy to find and install mods.
I downloaded the Australian, Korean and Brazilian civilizations via the Civ 5 mods section. And I installed them properly, the same way I have installed custom maps.
The problem is I can't find them either in the game or in the worldbuilder. What have I missed?
I downloaded True startlocation maps for earth and installed it. I then started a game on the map TSL earth as russia. I started in north america which is obviously not the true startlocation for russia. How can I make this work?
I played as the Indians on the world map yesterday only to find that i started in Siberia, what is up with that? What was even stranger is that I found the Germans in Thailand. It is no fun at all playing a world map this way!
How can I get the right starting positions on the worldmap in Civ 5?
The great thing with the Aztecs i think is that normally culturebuilding will suffer when at war. In this case the opposite, you will boost culture by going to war.
The Aztec special ability "Sacrificial Captives" (Gains Culture for the empire from each enemy unit killed) seems to me as one of the best special abilities in the game. Does anybody know if barbarians units count as "enemy units"?
I seem to have found my problem: City Maintenance.
This is information from my financial advisor:
Total income: 63
Unit cost: 0
Unit supply (cost): 0
City maintenance (cost): 30
Civic upkeep (cost): 13
Inflation: 16
Total cost: 59
I found this about city maintenance:

Thanks for all of your help, hope it will solve my problems.
This is what im doing now.
I play as Bismarck which have mining from the start and has the IND trait so that he will build wonders 50% as fast. I then try to build my capitol by a stone recourse. Now my chances to build the pyramids...
Every time I play Civ 4 BTS the same thing happens. I build my first two-three cities and all is well, my economy is blooming. I build more cities and by the time I have about seven or more my economy crashes and my empire is in permanent strike from there on.
Why is this happening and how to...
