Dads retired now and was in recruitment ( sorry not , John Bonhams roadie ) . But he was a journalist for a Melbourne jazz (his first love) magazine . He also had a radio program called " bottom of the dial" , a very cool reference to Elvis' answer to what he listened to on the radio (the black stations being tucked away in low end of the band) . He's done some other great stuff , he was in a Chicago club the night after Muddy Waters dies where an impromptu show by various greats was played . Spent 6 hours on a train ride one on one with Carl Perkins basically discussing the early days at Sun records . I took him to a Metallica show last October !
