    HOF Questions and Answers Thread

So how do i set those permissions? I have the files in the right spot thanks to lymond, but I am running into the same issue with a pop up when i launch the Mod. I am on the administrator account on my comp, so I am not sure what it is talking about.

    HOF Questions and Answers Thread

I have both of these covered, but my mod won't even show up as an option to load on the mod screen. Anyone have any answers for this? Also, how do I sort the HOF to list by score and not time?

    Quick Modding Questions Thread

Nope tried that. One perspective is way to flat, the other is way too far away, or at last seems that way. It really messes with my vision and I can't bring myself to play as the field of view seems wrong and messes with me. Looks like I may just have to reinstall.

My perspective changed when using the BUG MOD. I get the normal view without the MOD loaded. This is with the perspective changed. How do I get back my original views?

Civ 4 BTS Who is the best Leader to play?

When I was a newer player learning the game the FIN trait helped so much. It allowed me to keep up in the science race with the computer as the levels of difficulty increased. I then read the Wiki and saw that some players viewed the "FIN" trait as a crutch. I decided to find out and...

    Foundation and Empire #2

Courthouses cut city maintenance costs. With a bunch of land to settle you will have a bunch of cities, which means high maintenance costs as the distance from the capital increases. Building courthouses in thoses cities some distance from the capital will help with this issue.

Why are socialism and communism equated with one-another in the US?

In an effort to not repeat, I left out my previous post. Up until this point in history, there has not been a socialist state without communism, barring tribal societies, though that is a debate for another thread. Please explain to me how you would currently convert a state to socialism...

Why are socialism and communism equated with one-another in the US?

I don't believe either exist, thats my point. You can't have socialism without communism, and once you have communism you no longer have socialism. Is it any wonder they are considered the same thing?

Why are socialism and communism equated with one-another in the US?

Those are not socialist economies, they are free market economies with socialist elements. There is still private ownership and free enterprise. I challenege you to show me one true socialist economy in post industrialism history that was not set up by a communist government. I do know you...

Why are socialism and communism equated with one-another in the US?

This is where the confusion comes from. To get a socialist economic system from a free society you need a communist governement. How else will all those privatly owned businesses become property of the citizens? As far as our system is concerned you can't have a socialist system without a...

Why are socialism and communism equated with one-another in the US?

Because they are both pipe dreams that have little chance or succeeding in reality. Also because they involve several common elements, taking from the rich and giving to the poor, and the belief that capitalism is the worst thing on the planet.

What tactic has had the most influence on modern warfare?

You could say that about all tactics and strategy. Technology drives changes in tactics and strategies. Each new invention requires time for the leaders and visionaries to adapt to and use properly, as that happens tactics change.

What tactic has had the most influence on modern warfare?

Maybe you can clear this one up for me. While attending NCO training in the USMC, I was informed that the US adopted the basic premise of German WWII NCO training. What was taught to me, was that prior to that tim, most NCO's were not expected to think for themselves and to exactly follow...
