Actually, I find a great value in this thread, you are making another assumption. We all know that Firaxis pays a lot of attention (compared to other companies) to their fans' ideas. :goodjob: to Firaxis!
When one of the major fan sites closes all single civ speculation threads, but...
You're just making assumptions. Assumptions, that are wrong, but incredibly well worded.
Only joke I meant as an insult to anyone was to this thread. :deadhorse:
Should be closed, as well as the other Venice OCC threads popping up.
Were barbarians still building wonders in Civ 4 or did that end in 3? I can't recall anymore. ...as long as they don't bring that (or random barbaian "hordes" spawning outside my capital) back I'm happy.
:pat: :goodjob:
Here are some emoticons so you understand I was joking. No need to continue rehashing "why venice should be included opinions." I've kept pretty much upto date with this :deadhorse: thread.
From reading this thread here's my idea for Venice's UA:
Venice gets 2x gold from international trade routes. 2x growth from internal trade routes to reflect the grain trade. Their navy gets extra speed and power to reflect their expert boat builders. They start with the new unique glass...
I would say the famous general (one of the most famous of all time) who was certainty not a mythical person would have been the better inclusion. Especially since he also has a history of being included in the series, and many fans were quite attached to his AI presence.
The worst part about...
Oh ok, so they will be like missionaries, free entry into anyone's land (even enemies). Even though I think enemies would just kill the unit. (I know I declare war just to kill missionaries).
How can you have a trade route with someone you are at war with?
Simply because no other single civ speculation threads are allowed besides this one. If we were to discuss Vietnam or Phoenicia (for example) in anything but the "what are the last civ threads" that topic would be closed...back...
A majority of the people here on civfanatics guessed Portugal and the Zulu would be in this expansion when we realized they didn't make it in Gods and Kings!
I expect your prediction rate to drop after picking :vomit: Australia. :mischief:
