    Automated workers in Civ 5

That does sound pretty cool, but I'd be happy with them just not building over anything at all. I learned the hard way in one game where I automated all my workers after I had all roads and most of my land built the way I wanted. I paid no attention at all to what they were doing until I started...

Tip: Wait for expansion or atleast a couple of patches, in the meanwhile...

Every poll I have seen so far shows a (sometimes overwhelming) majority of people enjoy Civ5. That said, some people obviously don't. Your sad attempt at being clever will be lost on most people though, and this thread will be locked (or moved) as soon as a mod sees it. Go back to the game...

    Space Factories screw you over

The GPT shouldn't be a concern at that point in the game. The only reason to build them is if you are really in a race for time, in which case you can build them before your spaceship parts are available, or buy them (since you cant but the parts themselves). They don't screw you over, you just...

Do most agree that France is hands down the most powerful civ?

Hardly the most powerful, but in the top half for sure. Off the top of my head I would say that Greece, Persia, China, Siam, and maybe India are better.

Diplomatic/cultural victory on King and above

This is key for peace. Its nearly impossible to keep peace with your close neighbors. I generally just go for the first strike against anyone nearby because its inevitable that they are going to declare war on me.

    Hilarious (almost) loss

Even 4-5 is a pretty low estimate imo. Don't forget that workers, scouts and great people that you are saving for later use also count towards your unit count and cost maintenance. By mid game I find its not uncommon to be paying 6-7 gpt per unit. In the late game if you are in a war heavy...

    Best Production City? (Screenies Welcome)

I've had a couple hit 180+ hammers after modifiers. If I have any saved games with them I'll post a SS later.

    Hilarious (almost) loss

Lol, thats pretty awesome. I'm normally allied to almost every city state by that point in the game, or at the least all the city states on my continent that aren't dead (if I'm not going to ally it, I'll usually kill it myself if another AI hasn't). Still, good story, which would have been even...

    Persia is my favorite Civ

My specialist slots are generally full whenever they can. Also, grab the wonders that produce GP's. Porcelain tower (free scientist), brandenburg gate (free general), and the Louvre (2 free artists). You can also get the free GG from the Honor policy tree, as well as multiple GG's from warring...

    Space Race Tips

The important policy trees are Patronage, Rationalism, and Freedom. City states are a huge boost because of how population is tied to your science output, so you want as many maritime city states as you can afford, and grab some cultured ones with any spare cash you may have. You definitely...

Very true. I'll have to do that. Should give some diplo points for gifting them money as well.

    Spaceship / Science Victory

Here is a thread I started that nobody cared to comment on, probably because my writing style is very uninteresting . Its the strategy I've used several times with Persia for space victories. http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=388384

    Persia is my favorite Civ

Chichen Itza + Persia will pop a 49 turn golden age when you get the Taj. Its ridiculously powerful, and if you haven't blown any of your GP golden ages and can time a happiness GA right before it can get you a massive golden age. I've broken 100+ turn golden ages in multiple games with Persia...

    Strategy vs Exploits

I find many of these to be 'cheating' or in bad taste, but not exploits. Exploit implies you are abusing a game mechanic in a way that it was never intended to work or taking advantage of an obvious bug. For example, reloading after a risky move didn't pay off isn't an exploit, the game...

    Spaceship / Science Victory

Babylon or Persia. Siam isn't a terrible choice, but not certainly not as effective as the aforementioned civs.
