Elizabeth and Victoria look fun. Elizabeth will be fun to raid with Arrrr!!! Victoria is nudging towards her Germanic roots. 😁 Harald is fine but not what I was hoping for. (Elizabeth stole his enhanced raiding. Lol.) C'est la vie.

Agreed. The pillaging is what makes Norway fun to play. Take that away and give them an average abiiity and you've got a contender for worst Civ.

I have played through the AoW series, especially the first two. I especially liked the halflings. 😁 Very fun and they had a fantasy civ-lite/Master of Magic feel to them. More scenario driven play where you usually had to get a domination win. If AoW4 has more empire building, that'll be great...

Re-rolling a result you don't like absolutely IS cheating.

That's what first got me into CK I. Some player did an AAR about his Danish king who did all kinds of crazy things and had the most crazy and memorable things happen to him. I think that's how the game really took off, so I think you are onto something there.

Yes, I am sure that neo Harold will be different and sadly will not get a buff to his raiding/pillaging ability which, at least IMHO, was the funnest part of playing Norway. Probably will have something to do with trade or diplomacy. Hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Agreed. It will make the game easier and then some people will turn around and complain about the game's difficulty level. 🙃 I also think that achievements should be disabled if you start a game with the undo button.

I would think that an undo button would make you play worse as you could use it as a crutch.

Not a fan. Just play better. If they did do it though, it should be an optional mode that can't be turned on mid game.

Definitely could be ripe for abuse. I think being able to load from an autosave is enough.

+50 gold and faith for Harold raiding? As long as it can be increased by the Raid card, I'm all in. 😁
