Hello, I am trying to figure out how to best use faith in late game as i have typically ignored it in my games and want some input on how people use faith in their games and what strategies they use. Any tips are welcome. Cheers

take a picture of the following folder: D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization v\assets\Gameplay\XML\Buildings then I can see what files are there and see if I can find the problem, also, it might not be on D drive, just depends on where your steam installed...

friends will prolong DOW. not all ais will back stab you unless you give them a reason to backstab you. plus if there friendly towards you, you get better trade deals.

i never build academies as it is better to bulb a tech later down the line. save 4-8 of them in late-game and that shaves 100+ turns of research and you can grab the tech and military lead. you lose the forest when you mine a forest hill so the production boost us really useful, i wait to...

you need steam to play civ 5.

id say just make a salt related building like a granary. requires trapping. trapping > reveals salt salt > mine to get resource resource > build Granary 2.0 + food bonus to trapping resources.

but after .17 crashed on you, how did you reinstall to the prior version? steam wont let you do that.

@ragez0r - can you tell me how you prevent the game from patching to the latest version. I tried many times to stop it from auto updating so I could finish my games using the current rules, thanks. also, looking through your posts, you seem to have problems with civ 3 and civ 4 patches...
