well i played it 5 years ago. i was a big fan of that game. but i conquered the world so many times i got tired. i think it was invasio barbarorum, but i modpacked the game myself (like usually) and brought in the finest units i found on the site.
as regarding to ares i think this should be a thread in the creation and customization forum and not a private discussion, so designers would ask what they should create or getting something explained and than the whole community would step in and throw ideas or knowledge...in time specialists would gather from universities, since this is a forum well vivited, and universities means future for the game and modpacking, and also a huge import of specialist were i or you could change some words, and even learn something...hope u got the idea

the pictures are great i spent lot of time playing mainly byzantines against sassanians. and my friends laughed everytime they heard the word sassanian...epic battles...

maybe we will get an own thread regarding the developpment of arms and armour, in fact everybody here around knows about these. there are senior designers who know much, and there are historians and professional reenactors. with all their help there could be made a thread. my specialisation are fortifications but unlukilly enough the game features limited possibiities of exploration in this direction. i hope you will lend a hand.
