Playing as the Sheaim, I'm often uncertain of how I should build Planar Gates and the buildings associated with them. Many of the buildings (Hippodrome, Weapon Smith) are pretty off the Sheaim's magical research path, and I'm unsure of how much time I should spent researching and building them...

Making your own graphics is better than ripping in that people who've played the other game won't get distracted. That's probably the main difference.

Does Drill give you defensive strikes if the unit doesn't already have them? I thought it did, but after giving several of my Warriors Drill promotions and not seeing a single defensive strike after many combats, I figured maybe not.

On the other hand, I did get the Letum Frigus and the Aggressive trait on turn ~10. On the other hand...
