yeah but ninjacow knew he was in the process of being converted. Which I find most weird (even OP has "Remember that anyone might be infected with the Zombie Virus and the signs don't show at first except for an increased craving for brains.").

so somehow--either by ninjacow's role being especially anti zombie/heroic or ignoring switching to the zombie victory condition--he avoided the "one second fine, next second munching brains" switch I imagine would happen.

The objective for all players is to survive the Zombie Outbreak.
Remember that anyone might be infected with the Zombie Virus and the signs don't show at first except for an increased craving for brains.

The way i read that as there is only innocents to start with, despite the groups and personal VCs (related to discovering the cause, and the SK, and the deeds, etc). Considering that ninja knew that he was bitten before he converted, and that the zombies were attacking that location, IMO, it is 100% certain that until that point, there was no zombies, either partially converted or completely converted, in the group.

As since then there has been no zombie attacks against our location (that i can recall), it would follow that there is still no zombies in the group. Unless Takhisis has since decided to change that so we arent aware, but that makes little sense to me.

In light of that, unvote.

On second thoughts, he also says that people might already be infected. So i should change that to no additional zombies.

Sidenote: Anyone else have issues loading pages, where the ad and the top bar loads (general/hosted sites/civ5/etc), and then nothing else loads after it? Its annoying me.

The party were astounded to see such violence -and also to see that some people were not what they seemed.
Several items were put up for a vote.
An M-16 rifle, with no ammunition, from the General's equipment.
Two Clips of Ammunition and some Coffee from the Sergeant's stash. It appeared that the Sergeant had got some of the party's possessions with him.
From the Detective's Agency you acquire Ammo and Booze.

The party was now locked in by a fresh batch of Zombie hordes.
They must vote between staying or moving to another place.

Oh look! The thief!

Before you all start asking a million questions, allow me to explain. Yes, these two were killed by my actions (well, my allies under my guidance). "OMG, you killed a scanner!" No, I didn't. This is why you don't take what people say at face value.

It started a while back (around day 8 iirc), when I asked Gone 3 The Celt who he had scanned after j6 as he was due for a result. He claimed he scanned me. So, I asked him what the result of that was and he deflected. He instead told me the deal with Joe the Serial/Killer and/or thief and that he's undercover trying to find this guy (his PG) along with a General Fullbright. It's basically what he's 'scanning' for. He also mentioned should he have a weapon he can do 'something' with it, and ended that first communique with a 'reveal this and I'll kill you.'

So that got the wheels spinning a bit. 1) No reveal of his scan result on me despite me asking. 2) Working undercover. 3) The big one, "I will kill you" despite 4) Not having a weapon currently.

I countered with asking for confirmation on how often he could use his scan and he restated it could only be used every four nights. Which I considered odd, given I know of another scanner with a similar PG to find someone, yet he has a scan that works every single night. While not 100% out of the realm of possibility, it didn't feel consistent with the other scan I'm aware of. I also pushed deeper into the threat, basically saying if you don't have the capability to kill, it means you know someone who does.

He confirmed to me that this was the case, and that also j6 is General Fulbright with the same PG as him to find this Joe guy. Later, he'd reveal he has a QT assigned to the two of them through Tak, which screamed to me 'non-survivor' team but claimed he didn't know what j6's abilities were, if he had any despite in the same message saying j6 claimed to him that if the town lynched him the town was screwed. Going back to his in-thread role claim from earlier, he claimed not having any abilities and only a broken M16. Something was amiss there also. I also asked how long the two had been working together, and he claimed they met when we 'first' went to the radio station and then scanned j6 to confirm his identity. Which would have been after day 7 (thus screwing up his timeline), since that's when we ended up going there. It's possible he misspoke and meant another location, but in any event it felt off.

j6 had been scanned earlier as being really, really anti-zombie, though we didn't know why exactly. Celt's scan on the other hand (which I asked for after this long talk), revealed him to be pro-zombie, something along the lines of 'pray for your souls, because when hell is full the dead will walk the Earth!' It didn't sound very pro-survivor. So you have these two guys on the same team, yet have opposite scan results with regards to the zombies.

So all in all, they're looking for a Serial Killer/thief named Joe despite their being no night kills to this point, have no one else corroborating Joe exists, have a weaksauce scan that Celt wouldn't share the results on me with, a whole bunch of items stolen that could be used to fix j6's gun, and Celt threatening me with death if I revealed any of his story tied all together with Celt's obvious flinch when I first accused j6 of being the thief a while back. So, I bought a day of lynching with all of the distracting posts to keep them off of their toes, so the following night I could have the vig's take them both out at once so that neither could retaliate. I didn't want to lynch one (which would have been hard to do given people's tendency to believe everything they've said) and reveal that I was onto their little sideshow. With their deaths, and the items in their possession revealed, it shows that I was right about the thief being one of them (Celt from the looks of it). The M16 is not broken, the spare parts stolen from me a while back are missing (assumed to be used to fix the gun), and the Coffee and two ammos are also present, which is all of the items that were claimed to be stolen. It does beg the question why neither had both a gun and ammo and why they didn't kill either, but it's possible they didn't want to make the thief look like an anti-survivor murderer also.

You're all going to be tempted to now vote the items to yourselves or someone other than me. I caution against this, for I probably know more than most of you with regards to who's been inactive at night (the coffee scans) and who's been relatively cleared with their background stories and personal claims to me. The last thing we want is people getting their hands on weapons and ammo and going around killing everyone they 'think' is suspicious without knowing details that could clear the person they want to kill. In that regard, all items to me. I'm holding off on a lynch and location vote for now.
 
I'd like everyone to abstain on a lynch because I believe we may need as many people to fight as possible!

Earthling, you couldn't get told everything because you were tipping off j6 and gone3celt yesterday (edit - in thread). So some things are private.
 
And I was starting to seriously wonder if there were any actual night-kills in this game.

Well, would you look at that. People, now that the thief is gone there's no need to vote all the items to Backwards Logic, and frankly we should be more transparent about it now.
 
Where shall we go next? Eventually we need to go to the Research Centre to see the mess my former employers made and find out the source of the zombie virus in the first place. Research Centre is the place to go. I know it is a risk, but it is one we need to take.
 
You led us here which is also zombie infested and we haven't even seemed to find the item(s) you were looking for. The timing of opening feuds among sub-factions at the same time we're going back into zombie territory has also been unfortunate and questionable. But all together I'm okay with the Research Center; we go now, get done with whatever we can and then stay away from zombies forever.

Verarde I think is voting to try and not get lynched. There's a lot of stuff that needs explanation but a good place to start would be asking why Backwards Logic and Bad Player aren't for lynching mayor or Verarde right now.

Also, as Bad Player keeps insisting we have to gear up for a fight against zombies despite any public evidence to the contrary, that at least means he must not want to hoard guns on people who can't use them all while leaving others defenseless, right? Earthling Earthling Frozen in Ice Frozen in Ice Frozen in Ice. And no, I won't attempt to vigilante anyone tonight, not even TheForestAuro. But if we need to fight through zombies the only reasonable course is to have anyone else armed, not giving Backwards Logic an extra redudant weapon.

Of course I still really think the conclusions people are drawing on who the scum are have been shaky, and I'd like Bad Player to share any real evidence he has, it seems pretty sure to me we need to focus on getting rid of the Company Agents. We know they're responsible for the zombie virus and it doesn't make sense to not attempt lynches at all but it is worth taking the time to discuss evidence today.
