Tempting though it is to picture betazed as Darth Maul, given his avatar, I don't think the portrait fits.

For all of his skills, Maul was a mere lackey; A weapon to be used and forgotten by greater powers. This does not fit with the betazed I know.

To find a more suitable image, we need a warrior of considerable skill, but with the mind of scientist, and the dream of a visionary. One who believes that the energies of man can be shaped and focused to create a better world, if the right leadership can be installed.
