Carolus Invictissimus Extend is a project is to extend the unit list, add new arts and make various improvements to Jesús Muñoz Fernández's classic scenario Carolus Invictissimus.
Here is a changlog of what has been change compare to gapetit's version released at Nov 30. 2023:
1. Toggle Cheat Mode is now allowed in this scenario.
2. Extend describe.txt to allow more units appear in civilopedia.
3. Adjust graphic of "French Crossbowmen" and "Swiss Pikemen", to fit in the their appearance in 1520s+ more. Graphics are from Fairline.
4. New graphic for "Teuton Knight".
5. "Captain", an event-only unit for Habsburg, is now renamed to "Obrist" (a rank of landskecht commanders), it also gets a new graphic and can show up in civilopedia.
6. Unit "Landsknecht Crossbowmen" has been removed, the reason is simple, Landsknechts cease to use crossbow since 1517 and the scenario starts at 1520. The unit in this slot has been replace by "Landsknecht Bidenhänder".
7. Unit "P Elite Landsknecht" is renamed to "Doppelsöldner Pikeniere".
8. Unit "E Halberider" is renamed to "E Billmen", to fit its graphic.
9. Add England's flag on graphic of unit "E Longbowmen".
10. Change Militia's graphic to a more generic one, since this unit not only appear in England. Graphics is from Fairline.
11. Unit "French Knight" is renamed to "Gendarme".
12. Adjust graphic of S Arcabussiers and Sp Arcabussiers
13. Enable ToTPP function "NumberOfUnitTypes" to add more units.
14. Add new unit "Doppelsöldner Bidenhänder", available for Habsburg and Protestant, requires tech "Landsknecht II".
15. Add new unit "Dismounted Habsburg Knight", unbuildable, Habsburg has one in Vienna at the start.
16. Add new unit "Rodeleros", available for Habsburg.
17. Add new unit "Sp. Pikemen II.", available for Habsburg, requires tech "Metallurgy". "Sp. Pikemen" now obsolete at Metallurgy.
