I would think you need more RAM from this description. 512 just doesnt cut it any more, especially with this game.

Just a guess but I am betting that Civ4 has a memory leak problem and only having "512M Ram" isnt helping. If you can get a hold of more RAM to put in and test....I would try that. I have 2 Gigs of RAM in my PC and have to reboot once in a while because the game starts to slow down/stutter...

Leaders shouldn't live to be several thousand years old either but that is how the game works. It is a game and is suppose to simulate Civilization conquest. It you want it to be more realistic...there are a few others out there for that but in the end only "real life" is realistic. ;)

I agree. If people would like a more "historical" game, I would suggest "Hearts of Iron 1 or 2". A fantastic strategy game from about 1936 to 1948.

I have to agree with this one. Armor attacking in cities against a Mech Inf Div would be toast. Now in the open it would be the other way around, which I believe it is in the game :)

Well it appears rebooting fixes this issue. It was interesting. I started up the game and the intro movies were a bit slow. I thought that was weird so I rebooted. Cleared that up, so I checked the cloud movements....that was ok now too. I am betting on a Memory leak some where in the game...
