Tried it, but it froze even faster (5 turns or so).
Antialiasing is set to application control by default. I also set Performance instead on Quality. All Civ4 graphics settings kept to minimum.
I've bought a new computer some weeks ago, and Civ 4 runs great, except that it freezes or crashes after 15-30 minutes of play. I think this is due to a GeForce 7050 mobo integrated chipset that someone told me is "too weak" to play 3D games. Now I can't understand why a relatively new chipset...
I wish I could play this mod - this is not for the faint of RAM. Loading took 10 minutes at least. I started to scroll through the civs and when I got to the Polish Empire Civ crashed. It might have been an out of RAM issue or something. Oh well, I won't play this mod anyway.
I began playing with the Durals and their workers build a mine in hills in like 2 turns... is that intended? That and some lush terrain gave me three fully developed city plots by turn 100, while my neighbours have not yet produced a settler...
Defining the "destroyer" of a civilization may be hard due to multiple parallel wars . What about a x% chance of acquiring a special unit when defeating one in combat? Or a special building when capturing a city containing one (not easy since buildings are easily destroyed on capture)?
I'm on the verge of buying 1 GB RAM (have 512 MB) to speed up at least the loading times. Standard BTS saves load fairly quickly, but with any mod it can take as much as five minutes. And I won't even think about playing any maps larger than Large. Will extra RAM help? Or should I grind my teeth...
