I remember my first game in Civ I. I sent my warrior out exploring and the barbs stepped in and took my city and I lost the game. So they have been a nuisance since the beginning. Just be thankful they don't take cities like they used to.

In mid game I use my scout to keep barbs from building camps. I just move them over areas where no one wants to build. Like ice and tundra.

You stop when you see the samurai swing his sword. They will all hate you no matter what. Somewhere along you need to get musettes and cannons.

Wide and let them build them then you move in.

I play on king/immortal. I build slingers and warriors and then search out barbs for experience. When I find another civ and I have a three archers and three or more warriors(or what ever civ I'm playing for ex. war carts) I go to war. I usually conquer said civ and go looking for another. I...

I tried the permissions to "read-only" to off. That didn't work. I then edited the files and that worked great. A BIG THANK YOU.

Is there a way to save the options I have selected? Mainly fast battle and AI dialogue disabled.

That is what I'm talking about, it seem like it saves the game but when I go to reload it it's not there. I don't get any errors I just don't see it when I save again or try to load it.

How do I rename saved games. I like to rename them to something I like. Like when I want to test something out and then reload and do something else. I want to rename it "Battle". I have had some success but mostly not, by just clicking in the name and deleting the current name and save. I must...

Okay how do you get rid of the videos of all the leaders talking? I have seen and heard all their rants etc. They take up way to much time and are just boring. I just don't care for someone talking to me in another language that I do not understand.. Please help.
