    Pie's Ancient Europe

Pie, after several hours of IV Beta; you did it again. IV is better, more extensive and more fun then III. The Romans are privileged with all the new unique units. In short; compliments! I like the little details, the art, game play etc. Some small remarks from my side: • Babylon is...

    Pie's Ancient Europe

Pie, honestly, the thingy with the horseguys is just one small item in a great mod. As I said, terms like this add to the playing fun. Thats what it's all about! I'll keep an eye on the open English text, happy to contribute a little.

    Pie's Ancient Europe

I understand your intention with these 2 terms Pie; the 'normal' horsemen and the 'aristocratic' knights. I made a short design for a pedia for these two. I think I caught the sentiment you meant, but feel free to add or remove. It remains a litlle difficult in terms of historical...

    Pie's Ancient Europe

Pie, about 2 pedias; what do had in mind with both eques and equites? These terms are the same, since equites is plural of eques. Thanks

    Pie's Ancient Europe

Pie, English pedias are pretty much done. Of course all are more then welcome to add more to my input. Some terms are a little harder: • Manticism = Divination? • Deceris? • Blood Legal or Blood Law? If yes, can find ancient sources • Public ecenomy or State Economy? • Ruler cult or...

    Pie's Ancient Europe

I speak some German, but English works far better for me. Maybe better for me to stick to the English texts, or do you want the German and English texts to be equal?

    Jamie's Rome 1.3/2.1

Nice, I like Roman mods. I'd like to check this, but it didn't play. After choosing civ, loading it says "you have been defeated" at once. I think I installed the mod files wrong, sice it says to install extract files and place in the Program Files BTS mods folder. I can only select the mod...

civIV Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire (RFRE)

After reading it twice, I think I understand what you are saying there Stew :-) But many thanks for all your efforts, it means play fun for us. You ask for suggestions for p11, can't say that I have any serious ones. I noticed you mainly look after the 'historical correctness', am I right...

civIV Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire (RFRE)

The new rfre.py stops the crashing, but it doesn't proceed to the next turn. The interval between the 2 turns just goes on and on, sorry Stew

civIV Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire (RFRE)

Cheered to soon maybe, now my game crashes the turn to An alliance with the Burgundians I, 345AD (turn 411). Same story as the previous alliance :( Any ideas Primordial Stew? I don't look forward to the next alliances :-)

civIV Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire (RFRE)

My 275BC game also cracked every try at the turn to the Alliance with the Goth Tribe at 309 AD (turn 393). I've replaced the rfre.py file as you suggested and it's alive again! Very happy here, many thanks :goodjob:

    The World of Odysseus -Beta

I really like the mod, compliments! Good regular gameplay combined with some nice surprises (creatures etc.) and great art. I noticed some unfinished things (technology Xx for example), but this could very well become a great one. Maybe some more surprising events or rewarding voyages could add...

civIV Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire (RFRE)

Ì just installed p9, looking forward to it! I took a look into the folders and noticed the Assets folder is almost empty. No XML folder etc. I always liked to edit a bit with notepad++ in the XML files (units, text), that's not possible anymore?
